COST: List 20 images for a one-time setup fee of $250.00 (USD) and a small monthly charge of $25.00 (USD). Access to your own ftp area with the nifty, fast and easy to use HTML administration feature that lets you upload your images, bio, keep current announcements about your exhibitions and many other nice features, basically your own little web site and let the gallery do all of the aggressive promotion. Includes a link to your main homage if you have one and your contact info. You get have complete and automatic control over what you submit. For an extra fee they will even handle your sales transaction for you.

All you need to do is provide the necessary background information about you and your artwork, plus colour photographs and prices required. All orders and enquiries will be forwarded to you by us. If you sell a piece of work through our gallery then we will invoice you for 20% of the sale value. It is the best deal you can get! No sale, no fee!! ARTNETWORK - The front page of this site is a little much as you can tell from the logo but you can submit images for review by a panel of artists who choose which work gets shown. FREE

SITO - http://www.sito.org/ - This is a really wonderful collaborative site for artists to place work and participate in on-line projects. Sito recently became a non-profit corp.  Also has a mail list for members to stay in touch with each other - FREE 
ARTISTS ON LINE 
http://www.onlineart.com/ - COST - you may place 20 images and a one page bio for $99.00 for 6 months [around $16 a month] or 149.00 for 12 months [a little over $12 a month] 
VARO REGISTRY 
COST - There is a one-time set up charge of either $75 for three images or $350 for ten images and $15/image thereafter. 
           There is an introductory offer of $125 (for ten images) to the first 50 artists [it looks like theY are close to this number]. The annual subscription price to keep images within The Varo Registry is $50/year. To update your material there will be a $15 charge per image or $50 for five at once. This can be done anytime during your membership and as often as you desire.

There is a monthly fee, billed quarterly, with a discount for paying a year ahead. A minimum one-year commitment is required. Setup fees are part of the monthly charge. 
You receive up to fourteen original web pages, plus a duplicate set that is for your personal use to give out to clients and prospects. Your web address would be http://www.prtraits.com/yourname.
